Windows Flush Ip
Computer won’t connect to internet! DNS Error! Windows XP! Help!?
I’ve tried ipconfig /flush , that failed. then i read online to go to dns client services and make sure it is either automatic or manual and that it is started, i did, and still nothing. I can’t ping google’s IP, which i read meant i wasn’t getting out, but i can get on the internet fine when i plug into my other computer, so i know it is specific to the compaq. any ideas on why i can’t get an internet connection and/or flush dns?
after you do the ipconfig /flush dns you also have to do a ipconfig /register dns have you tried it?, or go to Local Area Connection properties, select tcp/ip and click properties and make sure ‘obtain DNS server address automatically’ is selected
