Flu Eggs

Is it possible to catch bird flu by eating omelets and eggs? How long should they be cooked to be safe?
Just make sure there is no running yolk or similar, make sure they’re all well done. If you heat up the eggs over 100 degrees Celsius for several minutes, the virus would die.
It IS theoretically possible to get infected from the infected eggs, but all the eggs you buy in the store have VERY strict health inspections done. There is a possibility the eggs are infected if you breed the chicken at home in a non-protected pen from wild birds (so that birds can get in contact with chicken or poo down on them). If your chicken behave weirdly or die suddenly, DO NOT TOUCH them, call a vet immediately.
anything you buy in the store is safe.
