China and five other countries have banned pork and other meat products from some U.S. states, drawing criticism from U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk since officials say the swine flu is not transmitted by food.
Kirk’s office said the bans were imposed because of the swine flu outbreak. The countries imposing those bans are China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.

I live in Istanbul.2 people have been death out of Istanbul so far due to swine flu and people are worried about going up the number.Some of doctors advise to get it.On the other hand, some people say it isn’t unproven.Should we get it? We are not sure yet if it works.What the hell kinda this virus!!

No one has “spread” it. Or spreads itself as it’s a living organism like any other virus or germ. The virus “jumped” from pigs to horses to dogs and to us becaiuse it grew and changed. A virus is a living thing and does what all living things do…seek out ways to survive and thrive. It just so happens that it needs US to do this.
