I had sex about 6 days. And then, suddenly, in the midst of my dream I woke up very sick. I wondered if I could be a sign that I am pregnant or I'm just going to have the flu or a stomach virus?
Well do you have any other cause nausea signs is a sign of pregnancy, you may have constipation, heartburn, frequent urination, I would do a pregnancy test to make sure or just go to the doctor and explain the situation and he / She will give a pregnancy test there .. Good luck!

Pregnancy Vomiting And Nausea - Your Symptoms During Morning Sickness
Pregnancy vomiting and nausea changes the way a pregnant woman goes about her day. Things that would normally have given her comfort, are now throwing her off.
Before I was pregnant, I’d wake up around 5:30 in the morning to the smell of coffee brewing; coffee that my husband always made before going to work, and had been doing so every morning for the previous three years.
Normally, I would smell its wonderful aroma, smile, and go back to sleep. Once I go pregnant, however, it changed. No longer was the aroma wonderful - it was awful and fowl.
The first morning it happened, I thought someone had lit a paper bag full of dog excrement on fire and stomped it out on our bedroom floor (sorry about the image, but it’s the only thing that I could equate it to.) My stomach churned with every whiff, and even though the smell was horrible to me, I couldn’t stop sniffing.
When I got up to investigate, I felt a wave of nausea overtake me. I quickly ran to the bathroom and vomited. I knew that I was pregnant, so I wasn’t worried about the flu. Still, it was a lot worse than I thought (or read) it was going to be.
Sure, I had read somewhere that it affected most pregnant women (88 percent) and that the symptoms could be worse in the morning, which is where the term morning sickness had come from. That had given me comfort at the time because I figured that this wouldn’t continue throughout my day.
Boy, was I wrong. That first day was a real eye-opener for me. After vomiting a couple more times when I had smelled that coffee, I went back to bed. I stayed there until 11:30 because I thought I could wait this thing out.
I did feel a lot better when I got up to go to the bathroom. I was able to shower, dress, and go downstairs to have some breakfast. I normally would have some oatmeal, but when I opened the container, the smell of the oatmeal sent me running for the bathroom.
My point with this story is that my usual routine changed once I became pregnant. It’s something you will have to do to survive the joys of morning sickness. In order for you to survive this without being miserable the entire time, here are some areas where changes might need to be made:
When you go to bed and when you are able to get up.
How quickly you can get up in the morning.
Whether or not you’ll need to eat before you get out of bed.
What foods will trigger your nausea and vomiting.
If you’ve scoffed at alternative medicine like acupuncture and acupressure, you need to reconsider.
What items are important to have with you at all times to keep the nausea monsters at bay.
This isn’t an extensive list, but it gets your thoughts going in the right direction. Things (like getting up in the morning) that you may have taken for granted previously, now might need to be planned with precision. Planning ahead is going to be your greatest weapon against pregnancy vomiting and nausea, so if you haven’t started yet, there’s no time like right now.

i am attending kaplan academy of california and its a newer program that gies you free computers for the course and theyre also free to enroll too…well since theyre free i thought maybe they had big expectations you know? and im pretty behid becoause i had the swine flu but ive been scatching upp but i got a master agree ment thing, and i read thru it and here is a quote

Im in online school too. It shoouldnt be an issue. Online schools are supposed to have flexible schedules. I missed plenty of assignment and end up passing. Its fine. Dont worry.

Have you ever felt like the flu pregnancy stomach or feel completely different? Pregnancy is one of the things that might make me sick, I suppose? I do not think I am, but is a possibility. I have all kinds of nausea, headaches, abdominal cramps, etc.
The nausea I had during pregnancy was exactly the same - but it depends on what other symptoms you have. Wondering if you are pregnant? Complementary: Headaches may be symptoms from the outset can get cramps (as lack of menstruation). I have not had nausea until a few weeks along - and cramping was not bad. But everyone is different. I would expect until you are late and take a test - Good luck

OK… my 8 month old has been through hell and back in the last 2 months. She has had pneumonia (sp?), an ear infection, the stomach flu, rosiola, and the entire time she has had diarhea with it all!! The doctors and nurses are just giving us the run around basically the last 2 months. Shes been on isomil df for the last 5 days to control it and now I am waiting on a call back from her doc to schedule stool samples because the df only works when she is using it not when she switches back to her reg formula (df is something you DO NOT stay on long term it is specifically for treatment of diarhea). I am just so lost now and feel so sorry for my baby. She has a horrible diaper rash from this which we are treating with verious creams from the doc and I just don’t know what to do… what would you do in my sit. does anyone know of any home remedies to rid diarhea?
Try some pedialyte. An imballance in electrolytes can be caused by diarhhea and will also cause diarhhea to continue.
For her poor tushy Ihave a bit of advise that may help.
First of go get some aquifor. It’s a purified petroleum jelly made by eucerin. After every dirty diaper clean her up and rinse her tush with cool water and allow air time. The air time is very important to promote healing. Then slather on the aquifor. That will help prevent the diarhhea from breaking her skin down as fast. Also it’s hypoallergenic with few ingredients whivh means fewer things to irritate her skin worse.
Is she still on medications? Those can easily be the reason behind the diarhea. Another thing you might ask the pharmacist on a dosage for childrens kaopectate (sp?) It’s an OTC for diarhhea. I don’t normally recommend giving meds for every little symptom but this sounds pretty serious. If you’re not comfortable with that confront her doctor for something to get her through this or I would seriously consider a new doctor. He obviously doesn’t listen and you need to know you can trust your doctor to listen and respond appropriately to all of your concerns no matter how trivial it may seem to him. He’s not the one living with a miserable baby!

My 2 month old has stomach flu, I have never heard of a baby that young getting it!?
My baby is 2 months old and has caught a nasty bug of some sort. My mother had it 5-6 days ago and last night the baby threw up like a grown person, Just once though then at 4 am she got diahria pretty bad and has been really uncomfortable being very sleepy, and looks drugged! She is holding down her fomula still but still has very watery yellow stool. Has anyone ever heard of a baby this young getting this? I feel so bad cause I dont know what to do for her.
If she was around someone that had it, then more than likely she has it. Since she is soo young, you should really call and ask her doctor what to do. Good Luck! My daughter had it about 3 or 4 months ago and being puked & pooped on is NOT fun!

14 weeks pregnant and stomach flu–will it harm baby?
I am 14 weeks and had a terrible stomach flu last week–threw up everything I ate/drank for 24 hours but tried my best to stay hydrated. Has this happened to anyone else and did it harm your baby? My doctor says that things should be okay but I need reassurance.
Your baby is highly protected in the womb, so don’t worry about this. You would have been more at risk than your baby because the baby starts to take all nutrients from you during illness. I had a nasty stomach virus with similar symptoms…it was horrible and I was very worried also. Dehydration is the major concern and can cause issues, but if you had become dehydrated you would have been admitted to the hospital and the baby monitored…you obviously did not get to this stage, so don’t stress out about this!
