Swine Flu Baby Jab
Has your baby had swine flu Jab ..?
Hi After a lot of thought I decided to leave my daughter has the swine flu vaccine, not an easy decision but I think I'm doing the right choice. I know everyone has their own opinions about it and I agree with many of them as I'm still nervous about my daughter being used as Ginnie pig but I would prefer to actually get swine flu, and I would never forgive myself. If u do not agreee with soap, please do not answer as I'm not after of opinions on this issue. I would like to know is your baby, toddler had the jab and if so how was and how it later? My daughter is 6 months and a half and I booked it for tomorroww morning. Thank you very much for Xx
I have 16 months old twins. My daughter is considered compromised immune due to a heart defect - any type of respiratory infection / subject could be fatal for her. She had her first dose of H1N1 in 14 months, in October 2009 and the second dose a month later. My son who does not have any known health problems (knock on wood) got theirs in November 2009 and the second dose a month later. . . there was a shortage of the vaccine in October in our area so there was saving that for children like my daughter. . . so my son did not get his to have a better supply. They had absolutely no problem as a result of the vaccine. Cried during the shot - but he likes being held down and given a shot in the thigh fat? Once dry the tears, I could see no change at all with my son and I know that I personally sleep better at night as a result they have. One of our occasional babysitters was just diagnosing the flu virus. . . was hospitalized for two days, released and should be fine. . . but it is still scary things better! wishes!
