Solution to algae problem?

My 10g fish tank keeps breaking out with algae! I have fluorite as substrate, and i have some anubias plants and amazon sword plants in there. i have a filter and heater (water usually hovers around 77-80 F), and i keep the sun out of the room. the one thing is, i don’t have a canopy light, i have 2 compact fluorescent (daytime) bulbs, one outside the glass on each side of the tank. How do i stop this algae from happening?

cut down on feedings and do more frequent water changes. Change out carbon more frequently. Check the fish food you are using for Phosphate.
some brands are as high as 1.0 phosphate, while you can find others that are only .05. Half is a big difference.
