Drinking Fluids With A Cold

drinking fluids with a cold

Does anyone have a remedy for a sinus infection during second trimester of pregnancy?

I had a pretty bad infection about 3 weeks ago. The headaches went away, but I’ve still had lots of mucus in my nose and throat (sorry!). Yesterday the pain returned, and I need some relief to deal with my 22 month old!
My doctor told me to drink fluids and take Tylenol Cold and Sinus, which hasn’t really helped. I am in my 17th week of pregnancy with my second child. Any suggestions?

I CONSTANTLY had sinus infections when I was pregnant. My OB prescribed me an antibiotic (Z-pack) and it worked great. It is supposed to be safe to take when you are pregnant. Other than that, using some sailne drops will help to thin the mucus…good luck!!
