How long should I stay in quarantine for swine flu?

I was diagnosed with swine flu on Tuesday, July 28, but I have antivirals, and took the last pill this morning of Sunday 02 August. Still I feel a little bad, but nothing major and I'm happy to return to work tomorrow, but I work in a hospital and I do not want to risk anyone catching it if I'm still contagious. I could not find any clear guidelines in any of the sites of swine flu to say how long to stay in quarantine. I work in a physiotherapy department and been on hoilday 2 weeks before I was diagnosed with swine flu so have not been able to catch up the swine flu information, such as the Protocol he was delivered at the hospital while I was away.

I thought that most hospitals had a policy that if staff are sick with a disease disease that should not come to work, just common sense. If you go ahead, many seriously ill or could be put at risk by being near you. I think most people in his situation would not work until you are a medical expert.

Also, if you’re running a business and half your employees are out sick during a 1 week period, your business may need to close for that week, and that can be really expensive. Spread the absences out over a couple months and it’s no longer a big problem. You need to see both the personal and the institutional perspective to appreciate the problem.

Is it just me or with all the reports about the people of Britain getting all freaked out about Swine Flu that the only people over-reacting are the medical professionals (NHS), the government and more than any the Press.
