Many Different Kinds Of Religion In Japan

Religion in Japan more than an aspect set of beliefs or doctrines practiced on a daily footing, is a merger of traditions that stem from the early wisdom of Shintoism and Buddhism, and which most Japanese have incorporated into rituals and customs that are practical on exclusive occasions, such as visiting a Shinto memorial to grade the birth of a new baby, or attending wedding ceremonies performed by Shinto priests. Buddhism also drama a large character in this holy heritage, in that most funerals in Buddhist priests overseen japan, who besides their point duties at the ceremony operate an ongoing sequence of cremation on death day anniversaries of late family members. Many of the festivals in Japan known as Matsuri are also primarily of Shinto beginning, and are regularly symbolic ceremonies representing the cultivation of rice and the spiritual well-being of the area. Matsuri are current measures that are mostly associated with Shinto Shrines, and are detained annually over the course of several living. One of the key skin are processions in which the citizen Kami (Shinto Deity) is conceded through the streets on a portable temple called a Mikoshi, regularly accompanied with drum and flute harmony. Every confined festival has it’s own sole characteristics, but most lean to be raucous, bouncy occasions that offers the commune an opportunity to come together in thrilled celebration. Although most holidays in Japan are secular in kind, News Year’s Day is clear by family traditions that are based in Shintoism, such as the consumption of exclusive food, and visiting diverse Shrines throughout the day with family members to pray for blessing in the future year. Bon Festival (Obon) in mid August is another well known significance for Buddhists which marks the yearly stopover of ancestors to the worldly smooth, and involves frequent visits to Buddhist Temples. Family altars are decorated with special guts emblems, and familial graves are cleaned in anticipation of the revisit of the souls of family members since dead. Many people also restore to their home towns to outing relatives, and to participate in celebrations such as folk dancing and prayers at regional Buddhist temples.

The source of the Shinto loyalty is for the most part unclear, but some scholars discover it emerged thousands of being ago as a cultural porch of immigrants from China, who ahead inward introduced agricultural wake and shamanic ceremonies which invariably took on Japanese characteristics in the new environment. The word Shinto means “the way of the gods”, and proclaims no specific initiator or sacred scriptures. The main premise of the religion is that sacred spirits known as Kami take the form of objects and concepts significant to life, such as mountains, grass, roll, pour, rivers, and fecundity. Human beings are capable of proper Kami after they die, and the Kami of extraordinary people are sometimes enshrined as a show of accept. In diverge too many of the worlds monotheist religions, Shintoism does not admit to a set form of beliefs. The world is seen as being tranquil of many shades of older, with no absolute forms of right and offend. Humans are regarded as being fundamentally good, and immoral manners is assumed to be caused by evil spirits which must be kept at bay by Shinto rituals, prayers, and offerings to the Kami. The arrival of Buddhism in the sixth century exerted profound change on Japan’s communal, intellectual, artistic, and biased life, and as a result Shinto temporarily floor out of choose. Fortunately the two religions were soon able to co-exist harmoniously, with many Buddhists viewing the Kami as manifestations of Buddhas.

Besides Shinto and Buddhism, Japan was introduced to Christianity in the 16th and 17th centuries with the arrival of European traders and Jesuit missionaries, ensuing in the conversion of thousands of Japanese to Roman Catholicism. In 1549 a Jesuit priest by the name of John Fernandez inwards in Kagoshima from Spain with hopes of bringing Christianity to Japan. Thinking they would ease the impact of the athletic Buddhist monks, the Shogunate primarily supported the Christian change, but as sentiment misused in the existence to respect The government banned christianity, and those who refused to abandon their new faith were killed. Christianity is practiced by about 1.3 million people in Japan. Although it represents only a small division of the population, Christmas is generally pragmatic, however in a mainly secularized form. Christian organizations have also left their persuade by founding well known educational institutions such as, as Kwansei Gakuin University, International University, and Sophia University.

Swine Flu Who Classification

December 28th, 2008

Swine ‘flu - hype or real?

5 All UK households received a leaflet giving information about swine flu and advice on how to prevent its spread.

http://thedaytoday.net

People dieing for any reason is unfortunate but is the WHO warning classification of 5 (1 under maximum of 6) really justified ? Or are they just testing world governments readiness for the real thing.

Both. The regular flu season is much more dangerous. The media loves to freak people out, and most fall for it every time.

Flux Core Welding Exhaust

December 28th, 2008

flux core welding exhaust

Which welder is best for me?

I am looking for a 115 volt welder for home use.
I am on a budget, and have never welded before.
I was looking at either an arc welder, or flux core welder.
I will be using it mostly for my cars,
most likely on exhaust, or on sheet metal in the wheel wells.
My question is which welder(arc or flux core) is best for me, considering my experience, budget, and application?

Thanks for your all answers!
Other types of welders are okay, if they work better for my type of work…
Also, appearance doesn’t matter.

if your going to use a wire feed for exhaust or thin sheet metal, your gonna need some pratice. i weld very thin stuff and can do it with an electrode welder, but prefer wirefeed.every welder is different, some you may have to choke the arc some you may have to widen the arc with a fast wire speed.ive had good luck using a “tinning method”like soldering or brazing, you just make a pass of crap and then come back and sew. the heat is dissipated well and you dont get the caveins with exhaust tubing.i use generally a low heat setting, and a medium wire feed. with an arc welder, it always worked best with 1/4 of the rod spent already.the rod i used was “shitstick 9011″ on a 20 amp setting and using about a 3/16 arc.made a very strong watertight weld, but was difficult.as for pretty welding, ask someone else.

Jewellery Making Tips - Soldering With Silver Solder

Soldering is the process of fusing or joining two or more metal items together using a flux and solder and incorporating heat as the catalyst. But before you can begin soldering, there are several things to be considered. The design itself must lend itself to soldering, the parts to be soldered must fit closely and the correct solder and flux need to be used.

There are four basic types of silver solder, classified according to their melting points - ex-easy, easy, medium and hard. An easy grade solder will melt at a lower temperature compared to hard grade solder. Solder has to conform to the same hallmarking standard as the metal being worked upon, so Stirling silver pieces will need to be soldered using silver solder. The first thing to do before beginning to apply any heat to the piece is to ensure that it is thoroughly cleaned. The piece can then be annealed, which is the initial softening of the silver to be joined. Only the area that is taking the solder needs this treatment. A blowtorch at a temperature of around 1200 degrees F will suffice and as the findings heat up they will change in colour to a dull pink.

Once this process has been carried out you can then apply the flux. This is a chemical cleaning agent that cleans the silver findings and the solder of any remaining oxide film and allows the solder to flow freely. The most effective flux is borax, which can be ground with a little water to form a paste that is then directly applied to the piece you are soldering. Check that there are no visible gaps between the two pieces of metal that you want to solder. As solder has a capillary action when liquid, any gaps between the two surfaces will allow the solder to run down one side of the seam and leave a messy finish.

Once the joint is coated on both faces with flux, you can then apply the flame to heat the item. A mixture of gas and compressed air is generally the best combination for torch soldering, as fine adjustments of the flame size and temperature are more easily obtainable. The flame shouldn’t rest over one area but be moved constantly to prevent damaging the surfaces of the piece. If you have preplaced your solder at the joint seam prior to heating, once the correct temperature is reached the solder should flow into the joint. The alternative is to feed the tip of the solder (if it is in wire form) onto the joint where it should melt on contact and again flow into the seam.

Any flux residue can be removed by soaking the piece in hot water. If you find it difficult to remove the residue, soaking the piece in a solution of 5-10% sulphuric acid for a few minutes and then rinsing in hot water should remove any last traces. Do take into account any precious or semi-precious stones that are incorporated into the piece, as the acid (even at low concentrations) may affect the surface of the gem.

As with all hobbies that include the use of heat, make sure that your work surface is suitably protected and that you consider all safety issues before beginning your work.

Swine Flu Target Groups

Swine Flu—H1N1 Virus—Outbreak Information (Part 1)

Although swine flu, H1N1 virus, outbreak information is scarce, should I be concerned? The purpose of this article and the follow up to it is not to alarm you, rather, the purpose is to inform you and let you begin to prepare now.

Although little outbreak information on swine flu, H1N1 virus, is seen, you should be concerned enough for your family to begin preparing for this next flu season. On August 25, 2009 NBC morning news reported some interesting statistics from an article in Time Magazine.

The report said that as many as one-half of Americans could be infected by the H1N1 virus. If this were to occur, our hospitals—short staffed as they are—would be overwhelmed. As many as 30,000 – 60,000 deaths could occur as a result of the H1N1 virus, and over 50% of these deaths among young adults and pregnant women.

The H1N1 virus needs to get your attention so you can begin planning for your family, today. The target age group is 2 to 49 years of age. The young adults seem to be the hardest hit of all age groups.

If you’re pregnant, you are especially vulnerable to attack by this flu virus. For some reason pregnant women contract the flu more readily, and they have the most trouble overcoming it.

You might be wondering, “Can I avoid catching the H1N1 virus?”

It is possible! Some people simply have built in immunity to the flu and cold viruses. It is rare if they ever catch a cold or have the flu. Perhaps one reason for their never getting sick is they have a great immune system. If you aren’t one of those, then here’s what you may need to consider. Begin to build your immune system, now. Always consult your physician before you begin taking any kind of product—natural or not.

One of the best immune system boosters is elderberry concentrate. You can buy the elderberry concentrate at most local health food stores, or you can find it online. Be sure you get an all natural product without chemical additives.

Usually the recommended dosage is ½ teaspoons twice a day. You can take that amount by mixing it a few drops at a time in your drinks or water. Mix it with your tea or whatever drink you use with meals. Follow the directions for taking elderberry concentrate from the label on your package.

So as we look at the outbreak information on the H1N1—swine flu virus, you can see that you do need to begin to prepare yourself and/or your family for the possibilities this flu season brings. It could be that you may never contract it, but what if you might? Don’t you think it’s worth the time to be prepared?

Swine Flu Disease

December 26th, 2008

swine flu disease

What do you think of the Swine flu conspiracy?

Can you really believe there’s a swine flu plot that could cause the emergency to to get really bad and the death population amount to go up?

We all know what the swine flu epidemic means that the bug is spreading at scary speed across many places can now verify cases of swine flu, and the statistics are still on the rise.

As you may have found out, throughout all this chaos, a lot of people now fret that the increased proportion of folks worrying about how is swine flu transmitted and swine flu symptoms is almost as threatening as having the pathogen itself.

There’s terror that led to by the morning news as folks try and sort the truth from made up. You are constantly being inundated with information about being prepared for the virus.

And then there is the worry among well-meaning fogeys who need to get their children immunized only to find there’s no injection which has won the approval of the US presidency.

On the flip side, there are a few people that worried for the vaccination all together and have not taken the necessary swine flu cares to guard their children.

Here’s the deal it is time for a small amount of common sense varied with care. It’s real that an oz Of protection is worth every penny of cure.

The CDC Centers for Illness Control and avoidance are preaching exceptional hygiene, thorough washing your hands, taking multivitamin tablets and resting at home when you’re feeling ill as the best paths to make it though the condition without a scratch.

Make no error about it ; these straightforward secrets just will not be sufficient for some folk. That is why swine flu conspiracy theories are alive and kicking today.

Many people would bet their last dollar that there was some deeper cause for a virus of this nature to spread at this speed throughout the earth.

How would you like to know the pathogen of this nature to find out what other folks have to say about the swine flu disease?

1. The virus has been manufactured by one to say about the US. It was released by accident and now the government is working to cover it up.

2.It’s a naturally mutated pathogen due to hog factory farms in Mexico.

3. Terrorism plain and straightforward or an international bio-terrorism plot.

4. The swine flu virus is especially made as a technique for the rich to wipe out the poor.

5. Global warming released this pathogen onto the earth.

Think I am exaggerating? Poke around a little and I am sure you will find even more outrageous swine flu conspiracy theory. But, don’t fall victim of this. Take the essential cares listed by the CDC and take it safe.

Swine Flu Dangerous

December 25th, 2008

What is Swine Flu - H1N1 Virus?

Swine flu, now known as influenza A H1N1, is a type of influenza virus. This is a new strain of influenza that has been only recently that affect people. It is not caught by the pigs or eat pork. It is a human influenza virus and spread by people. Believed to be a combination of three types of influenza - Swine Flu, avian flu and human flu. The new strain is extremely contagious and is spreading rapidly throughout the world.

H1N1 is different from other strains of influenza. This strain of influenza has not been previously exposed to humans before so there is no built immunities to it. This is what makes it so serious. At present there is no prevention drug that can be taken to avoid it. That’s why people who are elderly, very young or those with compromised immune systems should be extremely careful to avoid getting the flu.

Just how dangerous it is to be seen. We are starting to see the beginning of the cases in the United States. Believed to have originated in Mexico, but has spread worldwide. The worst of which seem to be in Mexico, probably because many people were unaware of the dangers of influenza and not seek medical treatment immediately.

Which was renamed the A H1N1 influenza to prevent people from making a connection to the pigs. This is similar in some respects to the flu that ravaged the world for decades. However, it is proving to be more serious. The outbreak was becoming serious because nobody has immunity to this strain of influenza. It is estimated that approximately 1 in 4 people who come into contact with swine flu contract with him.

The swine flu has similar symptoms to the normal seasonal flu bug. Swine influenza is characterized by high fever in the first and extreme fatigue with muscular pain. There is also a typical cold symptoms accompanying swine flu including coughing and a sore throat and nasal congestion. Some people also reported nausea or vomiting and diarrhea. The severity of symptoms is what leads most physicians to consider a Diagnosis of Swine Flu.

Anyone with symptoms should seek medical attention immediately. Those who receive immediate treatment is most likely going to make a full recovery. Doctors have a nose and throat swab sample to send to the lab for testing. The results will be returned within several days. Treatment is a drug called Tamiflu. The doctor will prescribe Tamiflu if needed. Most people in the swine flu in a few days. Once you have the swine flu of your body will have an immunity to this strain in the future.

Fluorescent Lighting Ballast Wiring

December 25th, 2008

fluorescent lighting ballast wiring

Why doesn’t my fluorescent light work?

My kitchen fluorescent light fixture has stopped working. How can I make it work again?

There are three light bulbs in the fixture with two ballasts (a small one for the center bulb and a large one for two bulbs on each side - both do not use starters). Before the fixture stopped working, one of the side light bulbs stopped lighting and when I replaced the bulb with a new one it didn’t light. Rotating the bulbs didn’t work either. I checked the ballasts with a multimeter and they seem to be fine (no resistance). I can’t figure out how to open the tombstones to check the connections, but they seem okay from a visual inspection on the outside. The wiring to the ballasts and from the ballasts to the tombstones look good.

Any ideas of what is wrong or what to check next would be appreciated.

Thanks.

1) Maybe you replaced the wrong bulb? When you replace one, you should do them both.
#2) Did you replace with the same type of bulbs(wattage wise)
#3) The ballast has an end of life relay in it. The other bulb may be bad and won’t light unless you replace them both.
#4) It will usually be the bulbs or ballast before the holders.
