Questions about Crohn's disease?

Does It sounds like you have Crohn's disease? I am 27 years old active women. I have had constant diarrhea for about 4 months until last week. My Lee has been every color you can think of, yellow, green and black. I had blood in my stool marked a couple of times. Went to the doctor a few times because I had diarrhea and was very fatigue. I had no parasites, my gallbladder was fine, I have very bad acid flow and joint pain. I go next week colonoscopy. As of now I have diarrhea but I have no complaints adomanal. Can a doctor tell if I have Crohn's disease without bursting? PS I had bad eye sight until it underwent surgery earlier this year.

When I was tested for many years. ago, I had symptoms of fatigue, abdominal pain, high C or D, a little blood, and a low grade temperature. After my GI field of me, not found no inflammation in the stomach, but he still went with his instincts and dxed me as having Crohn's disease. Inflammation in the colon finally appeared a few years. later, during another field and then was put on 80 mg. steroids to do things in remission. Unfortunately, when I was 17, he had to undergo an operation to save my life, so I had a colectomy performed. Wait until the GI was examined before jumping the gun. If it is Crohn, new treatments for the symptoms under control, such as Remicade, Humira, 6MP, Imuran and Entocort. The Crohn's and colitis foundation has a website websites with information ranging from how dxed, symptoms, treatments latest women's issues, surgery, to locate a local support group near you. They also have a live chat service provided by health specialists well versed in IBD. There is also an open forum where pts. and members family can send questions to others who have Crohn's disease. What should i eat and not eat after having stomach flu?

I had the stomach flu wednesday morning about 3am until about 10 am and have not had any symptoms since.
I have some lasagna left over and was wondering if i could try eating it.
or should i stick to the soup and water.. etc.

Broth or easily digestible soups and then hot oatmeal, juices to provide necessary nutrients and minerals. Yeah, best to start slowly not to make your touchy stomach angrier.

Sounds and visual distractions are other areas for concern when teaching the autistic child. Sounds such as school bells are fire alarms can hurt their ears and cause either a violent reaction or bad behavior. Record the sounds that the child should be used to and then let them playback the sounds at the volume of their choice. When they are comfortable with one sound, encourage them to increase the volume the volume until they can take the sound at the volume it will occur. Visual stimulation is also a problem for the autistic child. Place them at a desk with blinders and very little visual stimulation except for the task that they are doing. Even the flickering of fluorescent lighting can cause the mind and the eyes to wander from their intended task.

If you are trying to teach eye contact during conversation, physical activity or interaction is best. Swinging has been shown to increase eye contact. Only when the child wants to swing should the parent or teacher use this method. As the child is swinging talk to them. The motion that is fluid in front of them and their peripheral vision will be to much for them to concentrate on. The swinging motion will force the child to give you eye contact as you talk to them. This method takes a long time to work so the teacher or parent has to have patience and perseverance.

Don’t just rely on sound and sight to teach your autistic child. You may want to try touch, especially if the child is older and the other two senses are not helping. If you want to teach your child numbers and he or she is not getting it. Try to make or buy some plastic numbers. Give them a plastic number and let them hear the word of the number. As they feel it, some connection might be made to the word and their association of touch along with the verbal connection might be enough for them to learn the word of a number. You can come up with many kinds of manipulatives, but if one doesn’t work then change the manipulative before the child learns the wrong concept.

The articles was started with the idea that the parent had to schedule teaching time in their child’s and their schedule. It might be a good idea to hire a nanny or baby sitter particularly trained to teach a concept. It might even be for two to three hours a day. This will give you time to get your daily tasks complete and at the same time you know your child is being looked after by someone who is sensitive to their condition. Even if you have the patience of a god, anyone will be worn down by the constant attention to their child. If a child has speech therapy for an hour a day, schedule yourself a nap, a reading time, or just time to take a hot bath during that time. You have to break yourself away from being the constant care giver. Sure you can do it, but the stress and mental anguish you would suffer would not be a good thing for you or your child’s education. You can’t give up eighteen or more years of your life just to be a hero to your child. You know you can do it, but schedule time for yourself.

Commonly Mistook Signs Of Pregnancy

In their anticipation, or even fear, of becoming pregnant women can often mistake signs and symptoms of other illnesses, conditions or just natural occurrences for signs of pregnancy. But, the best advice to remember is that generally, a woman will not experience only one or two symptoms or signs but will experience many of them. The best way to determine if you are pregnant is by having a pregnancy test done. Pregnancy tests can be done by your family doctor, a store-bought kit or a public health center.

Women can experience any of the following and think that they are pregnant when indeed they could be a sign or symptom of other conditions.

1. No period A menstrual cycle is not always regular; illness, stress, excessive exercise and menopause can affect the regularity of a woman’s period.

2. Nausea or Vomiting These two symptoms are common for many illnesses.

3. Soreness or Tenderness of Breasts This is a common sign of pregnancy, but if it being experienced without any other sign or symptom then there may be some other factor causing this.

4. Weight Gain Pregnant women generally do not gain significant weight until after the 1st trimester (first 3 months) of pregnancy and by then a woman should know she is pregnant because there will be a variety of other symptoms that are being experienced. So, a slight weight gain with no other symptoms of pregnancy is caused from some other factor.

5. Fatigue Being tired in both mind and body can be a symptom of virtually any condition known to man and does not guarantee pregnancy.

6. Frequent Urination Urinating more than usual can be caused by various medications, illnesses or drinking more than usual.

7. Headaches Without other symptoms of pregnancy headaches are not a clear indication that a woman is pregnant.

8. Spotting This is when a woman spots blood at or around the time of her menstrual cycle and this can be caused by other conditions such as menopause, a woman first starting her period or excessive stress.

9. Light Headedness This is best described as dizzy spells most often occurring when changing positions suddenly and can be a symptom for a large array of other conditions.

10. Constipation Pregnant women often suffer constipation in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy and by then a woman will be suffering other symptoms as well. Constipation alone is not a clear indication of being pregnant.

11. heartburn There are many other conditions that have heartburn as a symptom. It can also be a side effect to medications or as a result of spicy foods.

12. mood swings Hormonal imbalances or changes can cause mood swings. These hormonal changes can indeed be caused by pregnancy but menopause, mental conditions, or puberty can also cause hormonal imbalances.

13. Cravings Humans generally do crave certain foods from time to time but pregnant women usually have stronger cravings or often crave foods they have never tasted or bizarre combinations. Just craving something is not a clear enough sign that you are pregnant.

14. Swelling Pregnant women often experience swelling of the feet or ankles but there are other conditions that can cause swelling as well.

15. Gas Experiencing gas can be a symptom of or it can be a condition in and of itself. Without experiencing other signs and symptoms gas is not indicative of being pregnant.

16. Bloatingwater retention A person’s abdomen can suffer from bloating, or water retention, for any number of reasons.

17. Diarrhea Often this experienced with flu-like symptoms but can occur by itself after eating bad foods or excessive drinking. Pregnant women can also suffer from this, but will also be experiencing other signs and symptoms.

What is Swine Flu? Although I have seen that it has taken quite a few lives, is that due the fact that possibly these people were not in the best state of health prior to contracting the flu, they had no access to health care and were just susceptible to die from the symptoms with no treatment?

WHAT IS SWINE INFLUENZA?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A
influenza virus that regularly causes outbreaks of influenza in pigs. Swine flu
viruses cause high levels of illness and low death rates in pigs. Swine
influenza viruses may circulate among swine throughout the year, but most
outbreaks occur during the late fall and winter months similar to outbreaks in
humans. The classical swine flu virus (an influenza type A H1N1 virus) was
first isolated from a pig in 1930.
HOW DOES SWINE FLU SPREAD?
Influenza viruses can be directly transmitted from pigs to people and from
people to pigs. Human infection with flu viruses from pigs are most likely to
occur when people are in close proximity to infected pigs, such as in pig
barns and livestock exhibits housing pigs at fairs. Human-to-human
transmission of swine flu can also occur. This is thought to occur in the same
way as seasonal flu occurs in people, which is mainly person-to-person
transmission through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the
influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with flu
viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

If you’ve spent any time around the local auction house you certainly discovered the “dancing flute”. This is really a fun item and it only drops off of one guy in Stratholme. The good news is I guarantee you can get it.

How? Well first of all, the mob that drops this is named Hearthsinger Forresten. He is a rare spawn but lucky for us not too exceedingly rare. Where is he? If you enter the back door of Strat (you’ll need the Key to the City) and proceed to the very first gated tunnel he will often spawn to the right of the doorway.

Let’s make it even easier to find him. Once you enter the instance just type “/target Hearthsinger” minus the quotes of course. If he is there then we can proceed, if not then reset the instance and try again.

If he IS there then (if you are a rogue or druid stealth) go over under the gated area to the left and wait there. If you do not have stealth then you can still do this. The area you need to walk by to get to the gated area (where you will be able to unstealth and fight Forresten) is very small. So all you need to do is purchase or have your alchemist friend make you some invisibility potions. Open the gate and run to the safe area (you will trigger the enemy chat script but no mobs will attack you).

Now, wait and make sure that there are no patrols coming by. You are safe in the gated area but if a patrol comes by when you pull Hearthsinger you will get it too and die. Peek around the corner to your right and you will see Hearthsinger standing alone.

At this point you will pull him by shooting him with a bow or gun or using a ranged spell on him. Let him run to you under the gates where you can fight him. He is easy to solo but has a very high dodge % so bring a potion in case he dodges so much you risk dying. I was able to kill him on my second try and have killed him many times since.

With any luck he will drop your flute or another nice item like the Songbird Blouse (great for druids). The good news is even if he doesn’t drop what you are looking for that you can just disenchant it and sell the shard and try again! You can repeat this over and over again and either get yourself a flute or make some serious money!

Do buyer’s prefer a gas fireplace or a wood fireplace?

I just purchased an older home with a fireplace that was covered up. It has no flue in place now. I am trying to decide whether the best option is to put in an insert (wood or gas) or to just install a flue and have an open fireplace. The goal is to sell in just a year or two and therefore I am wondering what most people prefer.

I think if your house is located in the country people still like wood burning fireplaces. And they usually do have room for wood storage. People do like both kinds of fireplaces generally speaking of course. I would have to say go for a gas fireplace. It’s a nice selling feature when you go to sell your house. During open house all you have to do is flip a switch.
