Do you think the swine flu is going to have a massive outbreak like the media/WHO is saying?
It’s kinda scarry that a lot of media and the WHO is saying there is going to be a massive outbreak this fall.
What is also scarry is how the gov’t is responding to it. They just passed a bill in MASS. this is what it states:
“A “pandemic response bill” currently making its way through the Massachusetts state legislature would allow authorities to forcefully quarantine citizens in the event of a health emergency, compel health providers to vaccinate citizens, authorize forceful entry into private dwellings and destruction of citizen property and impose fines on citizens for noncompliance.”
I bet the people that passed that bill are gonna be upset they passed it if it happens to them.
But nonetheless, what do you think about this potential outbreak?

Here is what I think is going on.
Scenario: They either don’t talk about swine flu or say it might be around, or it could make some people sick, but it won’t be bad.
Then an epidemic breaks out, millions are sick and a lot die, including kids and younger people without immunity problems. Suddenly the government is terrible for not warning us.
“Why didn’t they tell us it could get this bad?” “How could they let people die like that?”
If there is no epidemic or if most people get mild cases and are over it in a week people will say they overreacted, but I guess they figure it is better to err on the side of overreaction, right or wrong.

Cluster Headaches - Essential Overview Guide
Suffered by over one million people in the United States alone (with 90% being male between the ages of 20 and 50), cluster headaches is one of the least common types of headaches. While the cause is unknown for this very debilitating type of headache, it has been reported that using alcohol during an attack increases its severity. However, no proof has been cited to conclude that alcohol use actually causes and onset of a cluster of headaches.
What Is A Cluster Headache?
Similar to the severity of a migraine, cluster headaches start suddenly, offering little warning of its advancement. Some people have reported a feeling of discomfort or a mild one-sided burning sensation in the head and face prior to an attack. The pain may be short lived (often less than an hour), but will disappear, only to return later in the day and into the evening.
Most sufferers report as many as four or more of these short-lived headaches in a single day, with the duration of the series, lasting for days, weeks, or in the most severe cases, months. While the headache periods may last for prolonged periods of time, sufferers usually are granted months or years of relief in between these painful attacks. Sufferers are most affected during the spring and fall, which often makes them susceptible to misdiagnosis as less serious allergy headaches.
What Does A Cluster Headache Feel Like?
When experiencing a cluster headache. Sufferers most commonly report pain on only one side of the head and face during a single series. It should be noted, however, that the pain can move to the other side once one cycle is over, and a new one begins. Most commonly felt behind the eye, the pain from a cluster headache often radiates to the face and down the neck. The effected eye may become swollen, droopy and begin to weep. Excessive sweating is not uncommon during an attack, leaving the sufferer with a flushed face.
How Do I Treat A Cluster Headache?
Due to the fact the chronic cluster headache periods are continuous, patients often do not respond favorably to regular forms of headache therapy. However, preventative therapy administered as soon as symptoms begin may help to lesson the severity and duration of symptoms. Some common forms of treatment include:
Histamine Desensitization.
Oxygen Inhalation.
Surgical Intervention.
They may not be as effective as some treatments; taking analgesics, using massage therapy and relaxation techniques. Using preventative prescription headache medications have also been used successfully by some patients.

What is an AC Drive?
AC Drives are also known as Inverters, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Frequency Converters. AC Drives are used to control AC Induction motors; the most common motor technology used in industry. The motors are rugged, require very little maintenance and can easily be manufactured with high environmental protection.
If an AC motor is connected directly to the mains supply the motor will accelerate quickly and then rotate at a fixed speed which is dependant upon the electrical supply frequency and the motor design. For some applications fixed speed is acceptable and, by carefully selecting gearbox ratios, a desired final output speed can be achieved. However, for most applications, hard acceleration, unbraked deceleration and the inability to vary the speed and torque represent a serious problem. AC Drives provide a solution by modifying the voltage and frequency of the AC supply to the motor. Control is achieved by either estimating the motor speed, known as open loop control, or by measuring the speed, known as closed loop control. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages:
Open Loop Control
Open loop control provides the simplest means of controlling AC induction motors, as the speed of the motor is dependant upon the frequency of the supply, a basic means of control is simply to vary the voltage and frequency to achieve the desired motor speed. This method is known as V/Hz control. The major disadvantages of this method of control are poor precision and poor low speed torque.
A huge amount of research has been undertaken to improve the open loop performance of AC Drives. Open Loop Vector and Direct Torque Control technologies attempt to model the motor in real time to compensate for a wide range of factors that affect the speed and torque delivered at the output shaft. The result of these methods is a large performance and accuracy improvement, however, at low speed performance may still be a problem. Rotor Flux Control (RFC) is a new method of control for open loop drives which offers improved stability and greater dynamic performance.
Open loop drives are used where the motor is never required to hold a load at zero or low speed, and where the torque and speed accuracy are not important, typical applications include:
- Pumps
- Fans
- Conveyors
- Mixers
- Centrifuges
Closed Loop Control
Closed loop control is achieved by using a speed and position sensor connected to the motor shaft.
The result is stable, accurate, dynamic speed and torque control from standstill through to maximum speed. Typical application include:
- Cranes and hoists
- Lifts
- Winding
- Material handling
- Automotive testing
- Extruding
Intelligent Drives

Intelligent drives offer significant advantages; because the controller is located within the drive itself, communication delays are eliminated therefore improving performance in automation and motion applications and removing the need for external controllers, saving panel space. Energy Saving
It is estimated that energy saving of up to 20% can be achieved through installing and operating motors in a more efficient way. Installing AC drives in certain applications such as fans and pumps can have a dramatic effect on the energy consumed. With motors consuming an estimated two thirds of electrical energy within industry, drives must form a key part of any programme to reduce carbon emissions.

One might expect to spend $3000.00 to “the sky is the limit” for a professional or handmade flute. While there are some cost savings associated with buying a used flute, there is also a certain amount of risk involved. A used flute will most likely need to be adjusted and balanced for your personal touch.
Features of a Professional / Hand Made Flute
Body tube
The body tube may be made of varying grades of silver, gold, fused precious metals, and platinum. You also have the option of choosing the “wall” thickness of the body tube. The different materials and construction provide different tonal characteristics.
Toneholes
Toneholes may be “”drawn” and “rolled” ” from the body tube, or they can be soldered on. There is much debate as to the difference in sound between the two. Take the factory tour, and watch the video.
Keys
Pointed keys are standard on all non-touch keys. This method of manufacturing requires more skill and resources. The pointed or French arms focus the finger pressure directly on the center of the pad. Handmade flute do not usually have adjusting screws.
Scale and Pitch
Flutes are available today with several “Scale” and “Pitch” options. The scale is the relationship of toneholes to each other, the size of the various toneholes, and how they relate to the geometry of the headjoint. Some examples of scale are Bennett, and Cooper.
The pitch is the frequency at which the instrument is designed to play. The International standard is “A 442”.

Case
Finally, a sturdy case that fits the contour of the flute is essential to ensure that your new companion remains safe and snug. Always store your swab and wiping cloth in an external “case cover”. This will ensure extra lint and moisture will not accumulate in and on your flute. Case covers are often padded for that “extra” level of security just in “case”.

I’m a fluent spanish speaker and native portugeuse one….I want to learn a new language which of the 2 would be easier?
i speak spanish and portuguese too and i think that italian is easier i dont know italiand but some words are similar to spanish and portuguese but french is a beautiful language but too dificult i think…
my and mary can speak fluent italian, well, sort of.
