Reference ranges for blood tests
Interpretation
The range is generally defined as the set of values 95 percent of the population falls within normal (that is, 95% prediction interval), or two standard deviations from the mean, although the definition may vary (see Definition reference range). Plasma or whole blood
All values (unless otherwise below) show concentration of blood plasma, which is approximately 60-100% greater than the concentration in real blood, if the amount in red blood cells (GR) is negligible. Arterial or venous

Mass and molarity
