Is this stomach flu?
My 11 year old daughter woke up this morning at 7:00 complaining that her stomach hurt and she felt dizzy, so I let her stay home. She rested until 11:00 a.m. Then she complained she was hungry. She wouldn’t eat anything but McDonalds food. I warned her it was bad for her at this moment but she insisted. She said she felt a little better. But later at 1:30 she complained that her stomach was bubbling, and that she couldn’t go to the bathroom. And she had a low temperature. Is this the stomach flu? And medicine she could take? And how long will this last? If it helps, she is 5″ and weighs about 100 lbs. (yet she is so skinny)
Sounds like a stomach virus. Try some Pepto and a sprite.

No more picking up the litter and carrying it down to the nearest disposal unit! No more putting up with that very peculiar odor all day long! Just get yourself the new flushable litter for your cat!
Flushable cat litter is laid in the litter box like ordinary litter. Whenever the cat uses the litter box, you can gather up the flushable litter and flush it down the hatch!
The new kind of litter is finer than clumping clay. It is also about 3 times costlier than the ordinary clumping clay. On the positive side, you don’t have to use as much flushing litter as the ordinary variety. If it is not available in the local area, there are plenty of suppliers on the Internet who will take your order and deliver it to your very own doorstep,
On the question of environment-friendliness, both are detrimental to the environment. One is used as land file, the other makes sewage and wastes water.
Observe you cat’s behavior towards the flushable litter. Cats are creatures of habit and most don’t accept the flushable litter. This acceptance is the key to the whole question of using flushable litter.
If your cat doesn’t accept the flushable litter, it is worth a try to get your cat used to the new variety in a gradual way. Mix a fistful of flushable litter with the clumping clay. See whether Tabby accepts it. If so, go on increasing the quantity day by day, till one day it is 100% of the flushable variety. Don’t flush the mixture down the toilet! When it is 100% of the flushable kind, then and only then you can flush it.
If your cat does not like using the flushable litter, you will have to go on as usual. If Tabby accepts it, then you can say goodbye to that horrible stench, and the walks to the waste receptacle.
The use of either type of litter has a similar impact on the environment. The flushable litter is very convenient and odor-free. Whether you use flushable litter or not depends solely on the cat. If the cat likes it then you are in for an odor-less and convenient experience. Did I hear a “Meow”?

Lighting design is the planning of a lighting system to achieve optimal lighting effect in a given space. This design is often an under appreciated element of home decor. Outdoor wall lighting with placement alone can give you the feeling of elegance and security. Perfect outdoor wall lighting is a bright idea that adds to the image of your home and can increase your homes value.
When planning outdoor wall lighting you must look at what activities will occur, what atmosphere you wish to create and the decorative elements you need to emphasize. There are two main goals for outdoor lighting. The first is to enhance the aesthetic beauty of a homes landscape and second, is to increase security.
The basic types of lighting are general, accent, task and security. General lighting emits a comfortable level of brightness, enables one to see and walk about safely and a basic form of lighting that replaces sunlight.
Accent lighting directs the light to emphasize a particular object or architectural detail. Accent lighting requires at least three times as much light on the focal point as the general lighting around it.
Task lighting helps you perform a specific task and it should be free of distracting glare or shadows. It should also be bright enough to prevent eye strain.
Security lights and fixtures are practical and effective ways to prevent crime around your home. Statistics show that crimes are less likely to occur because lighting is an excellent deterrent.
Since there are so many outdoor wall lighting fixtures your choices can become quite confusing and intimidating. Here are a few ideas on what fixtures work best in which areas. Exterior wall sconces are the most traditional form of outdoor lighting. They provide style and ample light for safety at night.
Lanterns and wall sconces are excellent choices for main entrances and the garage. They complete the look of your entryway with an old world feel. Outdoor flush mounts are the perfect touch for covered porches or where a size requirement prevents anything larger. They often have matching wall sconces to complete the picture.
Ceiling fixtures seem to be popular for porches and breezeways. Post lights are used to light main driveways and walkways. Pier mount adapters allow you to install outdoor post lamps on your wall or column. Flood lights are excellent for providing extra security near entrances or as a down light on outdoor decks or back yards. Some outdoor lighting fixtures include photocells that turn lights on at sunset and off at sunrise when you are away.

Out door wall lighting prices vary widely. Adding a dimmer switch can save energy and extend the life of the bulb while saving you money. Many people execute their lighting plans in stages adding additional lighting fixtures each year.
New landscape lighting bulbs can provide twenty five percent more light and a much longer life span. The consumer has choices of incandescent, compact florescent, L E D, mercury vapor and halogen.
There is greater attention given to the fixtures construction and finishes. Matte finishes such as nickel, brushed steel and weathered patinas provide more depth and blend smoothly with various decor styles. These fixtures must endure harsh extremes of temperature and weather. Check to make certain that the finishes are durable and are UL certified for out door use.
Whether you select warm tones or lighting that makes your landscape come alive, you will be able to enjoy your surrounding and feel safe at the same time.

Many people think that the Mazda is basically the muffler exhaust system the car. The truth, however, is that the system is basically composed of a series of tubes under the car body that connects the muffler and catalytic converter. The main function of the exhaust system is to keep noise levels to a manageable level and to direct the exhaust gases outside the cabin.
The Mazda has the exhaust of gases produced by letting the engine to the rear of the car, finally departing through the muffler. These gases exhaust is discharged into the atmosphere from containing such harmful pollutants, especially carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide reduces the ability of the blood to absorb oxygen into the lungs, leading to serious health problems. Inhalation of large quantities of gas which can lead to poisoning. Monoxide carbon poisoning, in turn, can cause a variety of ills in one person. Headaches, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, and possible heart problems are just some of these evils. In addition, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, and in some cases, cardiac arrest results also common if you are subjected to a high intake of carbon monoxide. Furthermore, the Mazda exhaust assembly also converts pollutants into less harmful by-products, levels by engine noise and exhaust runs so they can be used to heat air and fuel before being burnt in the engine cylinders. Another function of exhaust system also includes the production of backpressure in the engine just enough to improve the efficiency of fuel burning engine and performance.
The components of the Mazda exhaust system generally includes tubes exhaust. These are designed specifically for each model of car exhaust gases is routed properly secured to the address you have to go. Then there is the exhaust manifold. Question about Yamaha flute?
I would like to buy a better flute for my son. My friend in Hong Kong got me a very good deal on a Yamaha YFL 471. I couldn’t find any information about this flute in US. Is it the same as the 461 or 481? Is it a good flute for a middle school flute player?
What specifications are you looking for flute-wise for your son? Have you looked into Pearl and other companies besides Yamaha? According to google’s search, the 471 is the Allegro model. With flutes, in the end, you’ll find out that a good majority of the overall sound (tone) and projection are credited to the headjoint. You could have a 471 with a Bundy headjoint on it and that would sound a lot different (much much worse, I’d imagine) than a solid gold Haynes headjoint. That’s why a lot of the well-known companies are getting their flutes to be cheaply made in China, etc. (not necessarily cheap in reference to quality but cheap cost-wise) and pairing up the body and footjoint with a professional headjoint and raising the price to somewhere around $1k+.
